All work and no play makes jack a dull boy.
Yes, indeed our school understands the importance of each of the above mentioned words, therefore besides training the students to perfection in academics, students are offered a variety of sports to play, which include:

Hockey
Volley ball
Basket ball
Badminton
Boxing
Lawn tennis
Table tennis
Athletics
All these variety of indoor and outdoor games are played within the school campus, as all necessary infrastructure including – 3 huge fields, 3 basketball courts, a lawn tennis court, a badminton court, a complete boxing arena as well as table tennis tableshave been provided to the students, so that they may utilize these to keep themselves fit and energetic throughout the day. A part from the excellent infrastructure, the school also provides all sorts of sports equipments needed to play the different sports thus relieving the students of an added responsibility of carrying those heavy equipments to school.

‘Cricket’, the unofficial national game of India which rules the entire nation is played with full zeal and enthusiasm in our school. The teachers are cricket experts who have made the school proud by recreating quite a few ’Sachin Tendulkars’ we have bagged many inter school trophies in this very favorite games of our. To our great honour, the legendary cricketer of India , paying a visit to our school in the year(2004/2003/2002).

Soccer and hockey are the all time favorite sports of ours junior camps as well as equally enjoyed by the senior boys. They have been able to draw innumerable trophies in various inter school as well as national matches and have made us proud. Our soccer team is regarded as one of the bestest teams amongst all schools in Kanpur.

Badminton and basketball are the two games in which girls of harmilap excel. We have state level courts where many inter school matches have been organized and teams from all over the city have participated. Boys have also proved their ability as basketball champions by beating several schools in various inter school competitions.

Besides , our school organizes various house matches which includes inter school competitions among the 4 houses- Ganga(red), Narmada(blue),Godavari(yellow), Krishna(green) in the various sports which helps to awaken a spirit of healthy competition among the students. Regular activity periods every week are very efficiently utilized to master the students in the various sports and extracurricular activities as well as get a healthy break from never ending academics and liven up their spirits. All these have been possible just because of the combined efforts the sports teachers as well as the students
